I am a passionate interior designer who graduated from NC State University in 2010 with a degree in Textiles and Marketing. My journey into the world of design began long before my college days. I fondly remember rearranging my bedroom as a child and specifically asking for a bedroom “refresh” for birthdays or special occasions. This early intrigue led me to work alongside a talented designer, Mary Sherwood, during my high school years, where I contributed to various projects around Lake Gaston, VA and the surrounding areas. While in college, I had the opportunity to work with a North Hills based interior designer assisting with local triangle area projects. This experience enriched my skills and deepened my understanding of the entire design process.
For the past 15 years, I have worked as a local realtor, integrating my design background by helping clients stage their homes before photo shoots, re-designing outdated trends for better resale possibilities and helping new homeowners envision furniture placement and decoration. However, my personal favorite has been assisting with custom new build projects. This includes guiding clients from initial concept layout and design, through selections, and finally into installation for everyday living. With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of textiles I will bring my clients’ visions to life. I personalize each space to reflect their lifestyles, turning a house into a home. My vision is for every client to truly love their space and ensure that it functions to make every day task fun and beautiful!
